Breaks can be an effective proactive behavior support when they are taught, planned and used intentionally.  Educators and school professionals are invited to the September session of the Behavior Support Professional Learning Community (PLC) series. This interactive virtual session will explore practical strategies for helping students appropriately request and use breaks across classroom and other educational settings.

Join us for the next Sibling SUCCESS event, which is designed for children who have a sibling with autism. The event offers siblings ages 6–17 with an opportunities to learn about autism and strategies for interacting with their sibling while building friendships and sharing experiences in a supportive environment.  

The Center hosts a free, monthly support group for Spanish-speaking parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. The next gathering will take place from 5:30–7:00 p.m. on September 24, 2026, at the South Waco Recreation Center.

Join us Oct. 2 for the Inclusive Employment Conference & Job and Career Expo at Baylor University. This free, full-day conference will bring together employers, educators, rehabilitation professionals and community partners to explore strategies for expanding meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
