Join us in learning how churches can move from accommodation to true belonging.
Hosted by Nazarene Theological Seminary, Nurturing Care: Day of Learning will take place on April 13, featuring Melody Escobar, research scholar with our Collaborative on Faith and Disability.
This half-day experience will equip pastors, ministry leaders, caregivers, and church teams with practical tools to cultivate communities of compassionate, faithful care for individuals and families impacted by disability.
Together, participants will explore:
• What true belonging looks like in congregational life
• How to partner with schools and community organizations
• Why respite care matters for families and churches
• Practical steps churches can take right away
