Abigail Roe da Silva is a second-year doctoral student in Educational Psychology, specializing in special education. Abigail is passionate about elevating the voices of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and promoting the belonging and active participation of persons with IDD in churches and communities in the United States and Brazil. Her research interests include faith community inclusion, valued roles for people with IDD, inclusive research, and disability theology.
